The government has published results of the 30th Bangladesh Civil Service's preliminary examinations.
Public Service Commission (PSC) exam controller (cadre) A E M Nesar Uddin told bdnews24.com that 14,470 candidates passed the examinations.
Some 147,988 spread over six divisional headquarters had a shot at crossing the first hurdle in the 30th edition of the civil service entry test against 2,572 posts under three cadres.
Of the cadres, 831 are generals, 1685 are professionals and 56 are based on subjects.
